There is more to Lost Pet Recovery than running on no sleep and dragging traps into sketchy places at 3am. We do need people crazy enough to do that. We also need the person who answers the phone at 11pm and keeps an owner from doing something that pushes their dog further out. The person who watches the community pages and tracks sightings. The person who fosters a dog nobody claimed while she decompresses, until she is ready to be adopted. The hero who puts out a round of signs and turns up a dog nobody has seen in weeks. The people willing to keep feeding stations stocked, haul equipment, drive a dog to the vet, or keep the records straight.
