Lost Pet Recovery
Lost Pet Recovery's trained volunteers use their expertise and dedication to bring lost family pets and strays to safety. We work relentlessly when an animal is in need and specialize in hard-to-catch/skittish pet recovery. The rescued strays for which we are unable to find owners are kept with trusted foster families for decompression time and behavioral evaluation, during which time they receive full medical care, including vaccinations and spay/neuter, before becoming available for adoption.

What we do
Humane trapping
When a lost dog is too frightened to approach people, our volunteers set humane traps to bring it in safely.
Skittish dog recovery
Hard-to-catch dogs are our specialty. We work each case until the animal is safe.
Foster and medical care
Strays we cannot return home stay with foster families and receive full medical care before adoption.
